Student Commnity Websit |
The KollegeKonnect website and KoolKampus website will have a single login like
Gmail and orkut or any other Yahoo service. Whenever the user clicks on a job
opening he will be sent to koolkampus to show the details of the job and apply for
the job. The Resume of the user will be pulled from the KoolKampus Databse, infact,
the databases will be on the same server so accessing both will not be an issue.
All rights to the project code and concept will be held by Kudos Infomedia, any piracy
of the project, later delivered to some other client will be taken into serious legal
consideration. |

- This page would contain the latest friend requests, the upcoming
birthdays, the activity log ( like facebook.com )
- It will also contain features details and updates, announcements
from the system

y Profile |
- This would be the profile of the user where he can see his own
profile.. all fields would have an edit link at the right, clicking on
which the field would become editable.
- This would enlist a picture of the user, his various ratings, scrap
counts, fans etc etc, his current status message, his general profile
as in hobbies, likes etc etc , other timepass stuff… some
educational details and more ( list to be specified later )

- Also on this page, would be his list of friends and communities
sorted in the order of joining and friends sorted in the order of
recently online.
- There would be no contact info visible here.

My Resume |
- This would be the resume of the person, visible only to him and to
none other than an HR where his contact info would not be visible.
- All educational and work details along with all the general contents
of a resume would be seen here.
- Fields would be editable by clicking on a button next to the field.

Photos |
- A max of 20 photos resized to 640x480 would be allowed to be
uploaded with a caption.
- All photos would have rights for FRIENDS, MYSELF , EVERYONE.
- normal photo management options like delete upload edit caption
etc etc…

Bookmarks |
- Profiles, discussion topics, communities, colleges, companies can
be bookmarked
|
Sharables |
- A user can have 20 sharables. These are items that a user can
exchange with others, we need to think of a better name for this,
there is no item uploaded but suppose you have a book that you
want to put up to be exchanged for something else, you can take a
snap of the book, or get it from the internet, put up the title, a
description and just let people search through your list of shared
items. Later, interested people can contact you via scraps and
meet you to exchange the item for something else that they can
exchange.

Testimonials |
- Users can write testimonials to friends, same as orkut.

Recommendations |
- Users can write recommendations to friends, these will be
professional in nature and can be attached to your resume.

My Friends |
- User can view his friends, rate them or perform actions as
mentioned.
- Search among friends
- Export contacts to CSV or various other formats.
- View options
- Friend Groups – friends can be manually moved and
managed into groups of the users choice.
- Friend Filters – Automatic sorting of friends based on certain
fields like location, college etc etc can be done.
- Other view options include – recently added, recently
updated, recently online, recently visited. etc etc

Networks |
Networks can be of 3 types…. Kollege, Kompany, Kommunity
- Kommunity
- This would be like the orkut communities. These can be
user created and moderated.
- Kollege
- These can be joined only during registration and restricted
to various education levels only.
- A user can join a max of 5 kolleges to keep it clean
- Kolleges will be same as community sections in orkut.
- Other extra features are present in the top menu.
- Users can suggest adding a college based on certain details
mentioned.
- Kompanies
- A user will be allowed to join max of 5 companies.
- Same as kolleges, rest features explained above.

Search |
- Search can be performed in the above mentioned categories.

Jobs |
- Jobs will be pulled from the database of KoolKampus and will be
shown in various categories by experience and domain of the job.
They will be displayed here by category. Also a section of MY JOBS
on every user’s profile would show jobs based on his interested
industry type.
- When the user clicks on a certain job detail, he will be shown the
jobs details and he can apply to it directly from there itself. Also,
employers can login and check the applicants resumes already
present in the database, which have been filled-in as part of their
profile….
- The employers also get a feature to login and check the applicants
resumes and filter them and send them mails without showing the
contact information.
- A different set of facilities will be provided to paid employers.

Birthday Reminder |
- Reminds birthdays of friends and also allows you to add birthdays
of various other people by entering the required data using a form.

KoolKalender |
- Event manager, helps users keep a track of exams, meetings, etc
etc.. ( the birthday reminder can be clubbed into this )
- People can create events and invite friends or selected people to
that event.
- This event would then also be marked in every members event
calendar who accepts that event.
- Event reminders would be regularly shown on the homepage.

- Freely available flash games can be put here for people to play.
Timepass option

- Helps users keep track of their income, expenses and loans, simple
tool.

Blogs |
- Simple bbcode based blog that can act as a personally diary when
given rights for viewing ONLY TO MYSELF.
- Can also act as a notepad for jotting anything down.

after he logs it, the system would also remember his previous

- Optional feature to allow users to send upto 10 SMSs per day to
their friends.

Popularity Score |
- A popularity score based on scrap count, friends count, fan count,
ratings etc would be calculated which would be used for various
contests.

- User Registration form like Facebook.com
- Resume form as on KoolKampus.com
- Users can search for existing people on the website without loggin in to the
site.
- Users can enter their Email ID and Password for that account, and users from
their addressbook can be sent invitations.
- Also user can see which of his friends from his addressbook are already
registered with the website…
- Captcha to be used when registerting a user.
- Whenever a user adds a new friend, a relationship between the two needs to
be mentioned by the user which should be approved by the other member.
- The design of the site should be somewhat like Linkedin.com
- Features should be a mixed of Orkut.com and Facebook.com
- The Kolleges and Kompanies will be created by the admin, they will be
moderated by the admin. No member can add or remove these, they can
suggest the addition of new colleges or companies. ( See Facebook.com )
- Every user profile or form topic should have a REPORT ABUSE link.
- A mention of LAST LOGGED ON date and time on every profile.
- KASHBOOK DETAILS :
- An ajax based script to maintain expenses and income of any user.
- It has a date field, amount field, type ( income/expense ).
- The total is maintained at the end of the page as.. total income, total
expenses, balanced amount.
